Q:) Do You provide a Written Contract?
 
A:) Yes, For Your Protection as well as ours, we have written contracts for all of the events that are booked through us.

Q:) Who will Be The DJ at Our Event?
 
A:) Many larger companies have managers or other office staff, so the person that you speak with may,  or may not be the actual DJ at your event
 
We are a small company so the answer to this question is , I will be the DJ at your event.

Q:) May we meet with you in person before we sign a contract?
 
A:) Yes, I will personally meet with you as often as you would like before and after you sign a contract. Some larger companies prefer to conduct their business through email and by telephone instead of meeting face to face.
 
Again, I will meet with you in person as often as you would like, before and after you sign a contract.

Q:) How Long will you hold our date for us?
 
A:) We will hold your date for two weeks after our initial meeting.
 
Once a contract is signed and your deposit is paid, your event is considered Booked.

Q:) Do you work exclusively for this company?
 
A:) I am, and have been the owner of the company since 1989. I do not subcontract any work out to other companies or DJ's and I do not work as a subcontractor for any other companies or DJ's

Q:) How Long have you been a DJ?
 
A:) I have been a DJ since founding the company in 1989

Q:) How many weddings do you do each year?
 
A:) This varies somewhat from year to year, but on average we do 20-30 weddings per year.

Q:) How many other types of events do you do each year?
 
A:) Our primary focus is weddings, however we will occasionally do birthday parties, school dances and graduation parties as needed.

Q:) Do you perform at more than one event in a day?
 
A:) No, we will only book one event per day. This way, we can devote our full attention to the one event (your event) that is booked on a particular day.

Q:) What makes you different than your competition?
 
A:) I take great pride in the quality of service that we provide and, Since we are a small company, and  we limit the number of events that we book, we can provide much more personalized service to you than what can be provided by  some of the larger  DJ companies.

Q: Do you act as the "emcee" and make all of the announcement?
 
A:) Yes, we will make all of the announcements necessary at your reception.

Q:) How would you define your "style" when making announcements?
 
A:) Basically there are about 4 styles of DJ's. "Quiet", "Moderate", "Outgoing" and "Over the Top".
 
I would best define my style as "Moderate" I will make all of the announcement necessary, but I won't get carried away.

Q:) What do you do to motivate the crowd if nobody is dancing?
 
A:) This really depends on a number of factors. But generally, careful song selection will usually take care of this problem.

Q:) Will we meet again before the wedding?
 
A:) While the initial meeting is the most important, I will meet with you in person, as often as you would like, before your wedding.

Q:) Can We Visit You at a Performance?
 
A:) Generally, the answer to this question is NO. Weddings are private events and are usually by invitation only. Unless you are an invited guest, we would not invade anyones privacy by inviting prospective clients to someone else's wedding reception.
 
You certainly would not want uninvited guests at your reception.

Q:) How do you keep your music library up to date?
 
A:) We acquire our music from several different sources. In addition, we check the billboard charts on a weekly basis and update our music library accordingly.

Q:) Can we select the music for our event?
 
A:) You have complete control over the music that will be played, or not played at your event.
 
You have the option of preselecting all of the music for your event, preselecting some of the music  and leaving the rest to the discretion of the DJ, or you may choose the leave all of the DJ. This is entirely up to you.

Q:) When should we  submit our music requests and event details?
 
A:) The sooner the better,  two weeks before your event would allow enough time  for us to be adequately prepared, but we are flexible enough that last minute changes can usually be accommodated without too much difficulty

Q.) Are you insured?
 
A:) Yes, we are fully insured. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance to you, or your reception venue if needed.

Q.) What are your prices, and why aren't they displayed on your website?
 
A.) Every event is different, and our pricing is based upon the details that you provide us for your event, rather than the "One Size Fits All" approach that some companies choose for their pricing.
